Meet Emma
A podiatrist for every stage of life
Emma Sievwright is a registered New Zealand podiatrist with over 16 years' experience across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, based in Tauranga and focused on biomechanics, custom orthotics, sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Finding the cause. Creating the plan. Keeping you moving.
Expert podiatry for every stage of life. Helping runners, active families, growing feet, and anyone recovering from injury, surgery or persistent foot pain.
Good treatment starts with the right diagnosis. Rather than reaching for a quick fix, the first step is understanding how you move, why the problem has developed and what is getting in the way, then building a plan around your goals, lifestyle and activity level. Where custom orthotics are the right solution, you'll be told why. Where they are not, you'll be pointed to the treatment most likely to help.
The best outcomes usually come from working together, so shared care with physiotherapists, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, GPs and other health professionals is part of the approach whenever it helps. Being based inside Back in Action Physiotherapy means a physio team is right alongside when shared care is needed.

A bit about Emma, outside the clinic
Outside the clinic I'm a busy mum of three boys, and I've always loved being active, from sport and dance to strength training, yoga and Pilates. Movement has been a lifelong passion, and I'm currently training to become a yoga instructor. That interest is a big part of what drew me into podiatry and biomechanics, where I love helping people overcome injury, improve performance and stay active for the long term.
When I'm not in the clinic you'll usually find me with my family, walking our golden retriever Buster at the beach, or planning the next outdoor adventure.
