What this practice does
A focused practice built around how you move: assessing, treating and rehabilitating foot and lower limb problems for people of all ages.
Why people choose this practice
A senior, biomechanics-focused practice that treats the cause, not just the symptom, whether you are chasing a personal best or getting back on your feet after surgery.
Care built around how you move
Every plan starts with a proper biomechanical assessment, so treatment addresses the cause rather than just the symptom.
The same podiatrist, every time
You see the same podiatrist from first assessment through to follow-up, so nothing gets lost between visits.
Honest advice
If footwear or a strength plan will do more than an orthotic, that is what you will be told. No selling for the sake of it.
How it works
Four steps, built around getting you comfortable and moving again rather than just quietening the pain.
Assessment
History, a hands-on exam, and a look at how you move.
Diagnosis & plan
A clear explanation and the real options, in plain language.
Treatment
Orthotics if needed, footwear, loading and a recovery plan.
Follow-up
Progress checked and the plan adjusted as you build back.

Meet Emma
Biomechanics-led care, for every stage of life
Emma Sievwright is a registered New Zealand podiatrist with over 16 years' experience across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, based in Tauranga and focused on biomechanics, custom orthotics and getting people moving comfortably again. This is care for runners and active families, for older people staying mobile, and for anyone recovering from an injury or surgery.
You want to get back to the things you love, and every plan is built around that goal.
“My job is to find the real cause, and give you the plan most likely to get you moving again.”
